Everyone should be a coxswain at least once in their life in order to truly understand just how much a coxswain is responsible for. They are the command center of the boat processing water traffic, boat responsiveness and communicating to the rowers. Coxswains are compensated for their time and talent. If you are interested in cox'ing an eight or four please email us!
aka Launch Drivers
You are the Captain of your own ship! Well, perhaps not your own but for an hour and 30 minutes you can pretend you are. PCRA has one club owned launch, and through the kind generosity of fellow members, the use of a fantastic second launch. The launch rides along side the rowing shells as the coach instructs the rowers. This allows the coach to give full attention to the boats. Captains are all volunteers. We supply the boat and fuel. If you are interested in being a Captain, please shoot us an email.
